Year 5 have been learning many essential life skills in their First Aid training today. They looked at DRABC (Danger, Response, Airway, Breathing and Circulation); how to perform CPR; what a defibrillator is, how to use it and where it is located in our school; how to put someone in the recovery position; and also how we may treat someone who is injured or has had an allergic reaction. All of the children worked very sensibly in their groups, they asked lots of important questions and have learned lots!
