23 May Year 1 welcome their first butterfly!
Year 1 were very excited today as this afternoon after lunch, Mrs Knott noticed that one of the chrysalises had hatched!
We watched the butterfly climb out of his chrysalis and stretch their new wings! We were all amazed! It was beautiful!
We then set the butterfly free in our garden at the end of the day to find a new home and enjoy the beautiful sunshine!
