29 Jan Children’s Mental Health Week 2021 – Information
Children’s Mental Health Week
February 1st to February 7th
The theme this year is ‘Express Yourself.’
#expressyourself #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek
@Place2Be (Facebook) Place2BeCharity
Expressing yourself is about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas, through creativity. This could be through art, music, writing and poetry, dance and drama, photography and film, and doing activities that make you feel good.
We would like the families at Riverside to access some of the resources and do things this week to express themselves!
We will be taking part by posting activities and ideas each day and we hope that you will all get involved and share what you have been doing as comments, pictures and videos. We will then be creating a display in school sharing all of the ways that our families expressed themselves and promoted positive mental health.
You can upload these to the post that will appear on Facebook, send privately via messenger or email to the school email address, info@riversideprimaryacademy.org.uk
Place2Be has created activities and resources to help children (and adults) to explore the different ways that they can share their thoughts, feelings and ideas. There are lots of resources on the Children’s Mental Health Week website that you can use with your child at home; including activity ideas, tips for parents and carers, and an online assembly which will be available from Monday 1 February. Visit the website below to find out more.
