19 Sep Prince William Award Ceremony
To continue with the Prince William Award theme, Mrs Goodfellow, Miss Smith and some of our children travelled to Birmingham University on Monday to attend the Prince William Awards Ceremony. Our school was one of only five schools in the north east area to be specially selected to attend the prestigious ceremony.
The children were very excited to stay in a hotel for the night and as well as meeting Prince William (again!) they also were delighted to meet David Walliams, who made a very funny speech and presented our school with a signed box set of his books.
All four children were given certificates at the graduation ceremony and one of Skillforce’s instructors, Nikki, received a special award for her work in schools with Skillforce. Well done Nikki!
